2025 Bravo! Vail Piano Fellow Ying Li

This recital program showcases the piano’s versatility through three unique approaches to pianistic expression. Beach draws out the instrument’s lyrical qualities, making it sing like the human voice; Ravel conjures the grandeur of a full orchestra in a lively ballroom; and Schumann reimagines the piano as a symphony, rich with varied instrumental colors.
